Problems with DX engine... any ideas?

could be ur fuel filter,,might be clogged up,,

try put fuel injector cleaner. it could be not enough fuel like he said. you open the gas and all the air rushes in but not the fuel so it stalls or sputters. do you notice any hesitation in throttle response ?

If you keep revving the engine, the throttle responds fine... but if you try to rev it up from idel speed it stalls out.
Put fuel injection cleaner in already... I guess I'll go ahead and change the filter out too since I have no idea when it was last done.

The engine is stalling out when it's given too much gas... it'll stutter like the engine is getting flooded or something.
Might this be a distributor problem? or spark plugs perhaps?

Damn! The same thing is happening to me and I had done tons of things to my car:
1- clean up the fuel filter
2- replace the 2 fuel filters (dual point)
3- replace the transmission silinoise

I dunno, I'm just so frustrated. Maybe it's a problem between gas/air/electrical...I'm having my oxy sensor changed soon... What do u guys think?

does it get better as the car warms up? i had a very similar problem with my motorcycle..i just need to clean out the carbuerators and it'll be good to go.

Mine did that it turned out to be the Fuel Pump.

I replaced it with a Walbro 255lt/h pump.
